Favourite Button

Hey Derek,

It would be great to have a heart icon on the remote to take you directly to favourites rather than having to go into menu then favourites.

Recently purchased DVR remote, and I have to agree, that it would be nice to simplify access to the favorites list by reducing the number of presses to get into favorites. I agree that it would be nice to have a button on the main screen dedicated to favorites, that way we don't have to first hit menu then hit favorites. Some other DVR programs have a small menu bar across the top or bottom of the screen, maybe that would work. Secondly, once one is on the favorites page, DVR remote automatically goes back to main screen. Most times I would like to stay on favorites page and jump from station to station, so I would prefer an exit button on this page instead of automatically going back to main page.

Overall I like DVR remote, and I think the key layout is cleaner and the program is more reliable than others I have tried.

Sorry guys -

It looks like I took a step backward here. In version 3.0 and earlier, favorites -was- a button on the main toolbar. I moved it to the pop up menu to make things cleaner looking in 3.1.

I'll look at doing something to split the difference. Maybe I can add it to the skins so you can place it where you like?

Loving the app, but also wishing for a favorites button on main screen. I never saw the previous version, but think you can add a favorites button to the left side column and still keep things clean looking....in fact, I think it balance things out well. Just my two cents.




Another wish would be for favorites to be channel icons (like Harmony One). Of course I have no idea if its possible, but it would be VERY cool!
